Me: Alanis? Was that a good guess or have you been talking to Vanessa?

Coworker: You look full of quiet, Canadian rage…

 

 

So I don’t know everyone at work—or who likes to go to the Happy Hours. After my first attempt at creating a Happy Hour I got a nasty e-mail from someone left off the list. I added him, but I guess my list didn’t update, I had a similar problem.

I called this person (who I have been told is a douche) to apologize. Here is the basic breakdown of our conversation:

Him: “I wasn’t sure if someone told you to leave me off the list…”

Me: “I think that’s kind of paranoid…”

Him: “Well when someone is the center of attention they might not want certain people invited…”

 

He doesn’t even know the girl who is going to be the center of attention. Lame.
